Registered Home Manager

In May 2022, Wilford View excitedly welcomed what was then, a new manager to the Home, Helen Beacher. Not quite so new now of course! Helen has been with the Medina Group since January 2020 working across more than one location and in more than one role. These included training and briefly an operations role before commencing her Registered Manager journey in one of our sister nursing homes, specialising in admissions to discharge since March 2020.

Until recently (July 2024) Helen continued to manage both locations with a fabulous leadership team working in partnership to drive forward compassionate, safe and importantly, care with dignity. Helen is now stepping away from one service to support the launch of Stapleford View due to open it’s doors this Autumn! Helen shall be managing both Wilford View and Stapleford View care homes with her dedicated leadership team as they embrace this new chapter in the Medina story!

Helen has a background as an RGN, qualifying in 2004 and specialising in haematology and elderly care. This has been a great foundation for the launch of Nursing Care at Wilford View in July 2024. With a BSc degree in Dementia Studies and a MSc in Advanced Dementia Studies, Helen has both the knowledge and passion to support the Wilford View team deliver outstanding care.

Deputy Home Manager

In 2024 Tammason Carlyle joined the team in the role of Deputy Home Manager and we have been excited to see the great idea’s, energy and empathy Tam has brought to the team. With a background in care roles working as a Health Care Assistant, Senior Healthcare Assistant and Care Co-ordinator in one of our Sister Homes, we really were lucky to be able to support Tam as she starts her journey as a Deputy Home Manager….the sky is the limit!

Tam has a degree in Psychology and is currently completing her Level 5 in Leadership and Management…. a wonderful addition to the team!

As part of our management team, you shall find Care Co-ordinator’s on each of our suites and Quality Assurance staff who support good governance in our service as well as supporting both residents and loved one’s during the admission process. Look out for Ruth, Katie, Rhiannon, Elizabeth and Tracey who is also our Nursing Liaison.
